About the Photographer:
Duncan Blake from Forever Legendz is an American photographer based in Sedona, Arizona. One of the hallmarks of his work is his ability to evoke nostalgia in his viewers.
His love of music began at the age of twelve years old watching bands/artists perform live, ultimately, turning his hobby into a lifelong career. He attended the prestigious Brooks Institute for Photography in Santa Barbara, California in 1980 and graduated with a BA in Commercial Illustration in 1983. Though he started his career as a commercial photographer in Los Angeles, he soon realized that the reason why he loved photography was due to his love of music and taking photographs of artists. He wanted to take away more from the concerts than just memories. By taking the photographs, he was able to accomplish this.
He seemed to think ahead, as Duncan managed to capture stunning photos from rock concerts in the 70’s and 80’s. His photography has never been shared before until now on ForeverLegendz.com. They are all live shots of some of the most prolific music acts of all time.
Danny Carey, world renowned drummer for the band TOOL, used Duncan Blake as the exclusive photographer for his book titled Remember the Future - Danny Carey's Synth Project. Duncan took wonderful glossy full-color photos of Danny's impressive collection of vintage analogue synths, electronic percussion and related electronics.
